Jose Salazar

Market Head - US

Jose Salazar is the Market Head – US-East Coast at Insigneo. He brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Insigneo, Jose was Head of Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management – Miami Regional Office, servicing the financial needs of HNW and UHNW families and institutions in Latin America for over four years. He was also Branch Manager of Morgan Stanley’s Coral Gables office.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, he spent seven years with Citi and held several managerial roles in Wealth Management most notably as the Head of the Financial Center for CitiGold International in Miami. Jose began his career in 1998 as an International Financial Advisor for PaineWebber in Coral Gables, now part of UBS. Jose spent his childhood in Puerto Rico, Argentina and Brazil and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family doing water sports, playing tennis and biking.

He graduated from The University of Connecticut’s School of Business and holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.
