Ahmed Riesgo
Chief Investment Officer – Executive Director
As Insigneo’s CIO, Mr. Riesgo oversees all the company’s research and investment functions. This includes macroeconomic research and strategy, asset management, and machine learning/data science. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Insigneo Investment Committee, a member of the firm’s Senior Executive Committee, and the Innovation & Technology Committee.
Mr. Riesgo holds a Juris Doctorate from Columbia University, a master’s degree in anthropology from Harvard University, and a bachelor’s in economics and political science from the University of Miami.
Mr. Riesgo regularly appears in several publications and live newscasts including Bloomberg, CNN, Fox Business News, CBS News, Market Watch, The Street, Yahoo Finance, and many more. His expertise lies in macroeconomic research and geopolitical strategy. He is a National Member of The Explorer’s Club where he focuses on underwater archaeology. In his spare time, Mr. Riesgo enjoys spending time with his wife, children and dogs, as well as mountaineering, hunting, and diving.
