Michael Averett is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at Insigneo, a leading global wealth management firm. In this role, Michael leverages his vast experience and proven track record to drive the company’s organic growth strategy, overseeing all revenue-generating facets and actively executing its strategic vision and mission.

Prior to joining Insigneo, Michael held the position of Head of Business Development at Bolton Global Capital, where he led firm-wide growth efforts, with a focus on Financial Advisor recruitment and product platform expansion and optimization. Additionally, he served as the Executive Leader of Bolton’s South Florida Wealth Complex.

Michael’s career is marked by his extensive background in international wealth management, cultivated during his 21-year tenure at Citigroup before joining Bolton in February 2022. At Citigroup, he held various leadership roles, including Head of Sales, Head of Products & Client Solutions, and Head of the Andean Region within the $25 Billion AUM International Personal Bank division. Michael led teams across the U.S., Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador, delivering annual revenues exceeding $150 million. He also served on the Boards of Directors of Citi International Financial Services in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Citivalores S.A. in Bogota, Colombia.

Originally from Montana, Michael’s career journey took him to Mexico and Colombia before settling in South Florida, where he has resided for the past two decades. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Spanish from Concordia College, as well as a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Additionally, he possesses Series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 66 investment licenses.
