Carlos Mejia

Head of Strategy & Corporate Development

Carlos Mejia is the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Insigneo. He is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Insigneo’s long-term strategic plans, as well as actively pursuing growth initiatives like mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships to achieve those strategic goals. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Advisory Division for Alvarium Investments Ltd. where he led organic and inorganic growth initiatives in the USA, Europe and Asia and co-ordinated all operational activities for the Division. Carlos has more than 30 years of experience in Corporate Development, Strategic Development and Operations including working for private equity and investment banking firms.

Carlos started his career in 1990 at Lehman Brothers Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Brown University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business, the University of Pennsylvania. He is an avid kite surfer, skier and scuba-diver.
