As Market Head, Maria leads Insigneo’s business development in the Texas/US SW market, steering all recruiting activity and managing sales and growth opportunities. Within an orderly environment Maria stives to carry out all activities leading to the firm’s performance in this market in a secure and efficient manner.
Maria has a wealth of rounded knowledge acquired since 1999 when she began her career in retail banking with Laredo National Bank. Prior to joining Insigneo, Maria spent 3 years with PNC Investments- International as Vice President, Regional Sales Manager managing the team of International Financial Advisors in Houston, San Antonio, Laredo, El Paso, San Diego, and Miami. Her prior years were focused on platform product development for the international investment market of BBVA Securities in the US, as well as on compliance and regulatory affairs at Invesco Ltd. and Sanders Morris Harris Inc.
Maria is fully bilingual English/Spanish and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 6, 63, and 65 certifications, as well as a Life and Health Insurance License.
