Moises Valladares
Chief Compliance and Risk Officer Global Head of AML
Moises Valladares is Insigneo’s Chief Compliance and Risk Officer and Global Head of AML. Moises brings over 22 years of experience in the financial industry, both in the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Insigneo, Moises held various compliance roles during his 17-year tenure with Citigroup, such as Chief Compliance Officer for Citi International Financial Services, LLC, and Senior Compliance Officer for the International Personal Bank U.S. (IPB U.S.) and Citi Personal Investments International businesses. Prior to Citigroup, Moises served as an Examiner of the Commissioner of Financial Institutions of Puerto Rico and as a Professor of Finance of the University of Puerto Rico and Phoenix University. For more than two decades, Moises has also served as board member of various nonprofit educational and religious organizations.
Moises is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and holds FINRA Series 7, 14, and 24 licenses. He has a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Moises is married to Dennisse Mendez, has three children, and enjoys traveling with them in his spare time.
