Raul Henriquez

Raul Henriquez is the Chairman of Insigneo Financial Group. In 1985, he co-founded Hencorp and until recently, he served as Hencorp Becstone’s President & CEO. Raul has been very active over the years successfully investing in private equity. He currently serves as a member on the Advisory Committees of Sun Capital Partners, Pine Tree Equity Partners and Alpha Capital Management.

A native of El Salvador, he has resided in Miami since 1979. Throughout his professional career, Raul has served on several boards of directors including the Salvadoran Stock Exchange, the Salvadorian Foundation for Social and Economic Development (FUSADES), Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation (SAHF) and Ransom Everglades School in Coconut Grove, Florida where he has also served on their Investment Committee. Currently, he is a member of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s Investment Committee.

Raul holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida.

Miguel Reyes

Miguel Reyes is Head of Investment Products at Insigneo and responsible for research, the firm’s trading relationships, investment financing, cash products, managed investments and investment management. Miguel has been with Insigneo (and its predecessor firms) since 2006, most notably as Head of Sales & Trading for Global Investor Services.

Miguel majored in Economics and International Banking & Finance at Franklin College Switzerland in Lugano. Miguel is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

He holds FINRA Series 4, 7 and 24 licenses.

Marlon Young

For more than 35 years, Mr. Young held senior executive positions at two of the world’s largest banks, directing and growing multiple areas of these financial institutions. In his leadership roles, he transformed several significant businesses, directed global teams and developed innovative initiatives to better serve clients. He has extensive expertise serving on both private and public boards and is currently an Independent Director for Insigneo Financial Group in Miami. Until 2017, he served as the Executive Director of HSBC Global Asset Management, a subsidiary of HSBC Bank, USA, and as Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of HSBC Private Bank International, Miami.

His not-for-profit board experience extends to the US Asia Institute in Washington D.C., where he served as Chairman and Trustee for ten years before assuming his current position as Chairman Emeritus and Trustee. He is also a Foundation Member and Finance Committee Member for the University of South Dakota Foundation. Previously, he served on the Philadelphia Orchestra Advisory Board. A recipient of President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2011, Marlon continues to actively participate in advocacy and volunteer work, particularly in Junior Achievement, the Doe Fund, Out on the Street, Green Chimneys and Ascend.

Today, Marlon is a Senior Advisor and Associate Partner with Cambridge Advisors to Family Enterprise, a specialized international organization focused on helping families achieve multigenerational success and financial wealth. In this capacity, Marlon, who is based in New York, advises multigenerational family enterprises of diverse sizes and industries throughout North America, South America and Asia on family system issues. This includes advising on wealth and portfolio diversification strategies; how families select financial service providers; effective governance throughout the family enterprise, and succession planning.

Previously, Marlon was CEO and Regional Head of HSBC Global Private Bank–Americas, a position he held for more than a decade. Prior to his tenure at HSBC, he held key executive positions within Citigroup for 25 years. He served as Managing Director and Head of Private Client Lending for Citigroup’s Smith Barney division and served in various leadership roles at Citigroup Private Bank, Citicorp Real Estate Group, and Citibank Corporate Bank. His international banking experience involved assignments in Thailand Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

He earned his MBA from the Asian Institute of Management in The Philippines and his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of South Dakota. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD); holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses and holds an IMCA (Investment Management Consultants Association) certification.

Mariela Arana

Mariela Arana leads the Client Relations team. She brings over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Insigneo, Mariela served as the Head of CPII Operations at Citi International Personal Bank and previously as an Investment Associate at Citi Private Bank. Mariela started her financial services career in 2005 at Merrill Lynch.

Mariela graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance; she has completed Certified Financial Planning courses at the University of Miami. A native of Peru, Mariela enjoys golf, gastronomy and trying new restaurants with her husband and two children. She holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 in addition to Life, Health & Variable Annuities (215) licenses.

Jose Salazar

Jose Salazar is the Market Head – US-East Coast at Insigneo. He brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Insigneo, Jose was Head of Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management – Miami Regional Office, servicing the financial needs of HNW and UHNW families and institutions in Latin America for over four years. He was also Branch Manager of Morgan Stanley’s Coral Gables office.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, he spent seven years with Citi and held several managerial roles in Wealth Management most notably as the Head of the Financial Center for CitiGold International in Miami. Jose began his career in 1998 as an International Financial Advisor for PaineWebber in Coral Gables, now part of UBS. Jose spent his childhood in Puerto Rico, Argentina and Brazil and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family doing water sports, playing tennis and biking.

He graduated from The University of Connecticut’s School of Business and holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.

John Diamantis

John Diamantis is an executive with over three decades of experience in the global financial services industry. He is the Principal and founder of Global Asset Management Advisors which provides consulting services to global financial intermediaries and asset managers. Previously, he was an Executive Committee Member and Head of Global Customers and Business Development for Global Security Services and Co-Head of Global Customers for Pershing LLC (a BNY Mellon Company). He began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette – Pershing Division, an AXA Group Company, where he spent over 15 years and became a Managing Director, Executive Committee Member and Co-Head of Global Customers.

John serves on the Board of Advisors of Banco Inversis, Spain and is an Adjunct Professor of Finance for the Business School MBA Program of the New York Institute of Technology and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (China). He holds an MBA from the University of Illinois, a BSA of Economics and International Law from the University of Athens including PhD credits.

He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.

Javier Rivero

Javier Rivero is Insigneo’s Chief Operating Officer and presently leads the Operations, Relationship Management, Supervision and Information Technology departments. With extensive experience in Global Wealth Management, Javier and his team provide an exceptional client experience, streamlined operations and best of breed technology to our partners.

Prior to joining Insigneo, Javier led the International Division of Dynasty Financial Partners, a leading provider of wealth management and technology platforms for multi-billion-dollar independent financial advisory firms. Previously, he worked in Merrill Lynch’s LatAm Division in Miami, Florida from 2011 to 2014 as Complex Administrative Manager. Javier began his career in New Jersey at First Union Securities, now known as Wells Fargo Advisors, who in 2006 moved him to the International Division located in Miami, Florida.

Javier is a graduate of Kean University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and boating and he is the proud father of two children.

Jacobo Gadala Maria

Over the course of his thirty-plus year career in finance, Jacobo has led numerous investment management firms. His professional history includes executive roles at Bankers Trust Company (North American Deputy Group Head), Vestrust Securities (Principal and Founding Partner), Dresdner Lateinamerika Financial Advisors (Chief Executive Officer), EFG Capital International (President) and PRS International (President and CEO). In 2011, Jacobo founded Unimar Financial Services, an SEC-registered Registered Investment Advisor specializing in corporate fixed income and currently serves as its President and Chief Investment Officer.

Helen Lumpuy

Helen Lumpuy is the Senior Compliance Officer of Insigneo Securities, LLC. She has been with Insigneo and its predecessor organizations since 1996 starting in Operations and moving into the Compliance department in 2004. Helen oversees all regulatory and AML-related activity safeguarding that Insigneo is compliant with all FINRA and SEC regulations. Helen received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rutgers University in 1982.

Guillermo Broukaert

Guillermo Broukaert is based in Montevideo, Uruguay and is the Regional Head overseeing Operations and providing support to more than 100 independent financial advisors in Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. Guillermo has been with the firm since 2010 where he started the independent business model at Insigneo’s predecessor firm, Northeast Securities, as Branch Manager.

Prior to joining Insigneo, Guillermo served as Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Montevideo (2009-2010), as Administration Manager at Wachovia Securities (2003-2009) and he began his career in 1994 at Prudential Securities in Buenos Aires where he served as Operations Manager prior to his departure in 2003. Guillermo enjoys traveling, playing soccer and spending time with his children whom he learns from daily.

He holds FINRA Series 3, 7, 9, 10 and 63 licenses.
