October 5, 2026 – On October 1, Insigneo 360 LATAM continued its regional journey with a new stop in Santiago, Chile, bringing together more than 400 clients and Investment Professionals to discuss the firm’s growth, the global economic environment, and the factors that could shape the region heading into 2027.
The event featured Raúl Henríquez; Ahmed Riesgo, Chief Investment Officer; Vittorio Corbo, Economist and former President of the Central Bank of Chile; María Soledad Onetto, journalist, event host, and Q&A moderator; Maximiliano Contador, Country Head Chile, who welcomed attendees; and Danilo Narbona, Market Head – Andean and Central America, who delivered the closing remarks.

Raúl Henríquez, Chairman of the Board & CEO of Insigneo shared Insigneo’s evolution and the model that has guided the firm’s growth across Latin America, highlighting the importance of combining international reach with a deep understanding of the needs and characteristics of clients in the region.
His remarks placed particular focus on Chile, where Insigneo has had a presence since 2021 and continues to deepen its knowledge of the local market. In Chile, investment advisory services are provided through Insigneo Asesorías Financieras SpA, the local entity registered with the CMF.
Henríquez highlighted the opportunity to continue strengthening Insigneo’s presence in a market with a developed financial culture, with an approach centered on proximity, local knowledge, international perspective, and long-term relationships.

Looking Toward 2027: Growth, Fiscal Discipline, and Local and Regional Risks

Vittorio Corbo, Economist and former President of the Central Bank of Chile provided his perspective on the key economic factors that could influence the Chilean and regional outlook heading into 2027.
As part of his analysis, he highlighted Paraguay as one of Latin America’s most consistently growing economies over the past decade, noting its progress toward an investment-grade sovereign rating as well as the fiscal challenges that remain.
His presentation addressed the path of the fiscal deficit, the need for stronger tax revenues, and the potential inflationary impact of climate events such as a Super El Niño.
Corbo also discussed external factors that could influence the regional outlook, including political and trade developments in Brazil and Paraguay’s commercial relationships with China and Taiwan.

During his remarks, he revisited several of the questions explored during the call, including the U.S. midterm elections, the second half of Donald Trump’s presidency, shifting geopolitical dynamics across Latin America, and the outlook for Brazil.
